Welcome to Car Cavalcade
Hi and welcome to the first blog post at Car Cavalcade. I hope the posts, stories and photos will continue to be interesting, thought provoking and useful.
Car Cavalcade is a celebration of the cars that we love to drive, care for or just admire from afar.
Sometimes, a car will be special because it evokes childhood memories. Maybe it was our family car, one we saw racing or at a motorshow and the image stuck with us. Maybe it was unattainable when we were younger but now it’s in reach. And maybe it earned its special place because it broke new ground, sums up a style or represents a generation.
Since watching them racing in the late 60s, the Ford Mustang has ticked all the boxes for me. But whatever the car or the reason, it’s a cause for celebration and a story to be told.
Contemporary news and issues will also get some attention. Whether it’s about historic racing and speed events, car clubs and exhibitions or developments in design and innovation – stories of interest to car enthusiasts everywhere can find a place at Car Cavalcade.
